Dear Respected Father,
I am Fr. Yadhu Michael from Varanasi. I belong to the MCBS ( Missionary Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament). At present, I am doing Ph.D. program at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. I have been admitted just a couple of days ago. I would like to do my research on the topic " A Critical Analysis on De Smet's Interpretation of Sankara's Advaitavada (Non- Dualism)" or " A Rereading of Sakara's Adviatavada (Non- Dualism) with special reference to Richard De Smet". I have been going through your books " Understanding Sankara" and Brahman and Person for the last few weeks. I would like to meet you if possible. Are you staying in Nashik? I would be very happy to meet you and get some help from you. I don't have a wide knowledge about De Smet's ideas. I just started reading his essays and found something interesting. I would be very happy to get some feedback form you. I am going to JDV, Pune in first week of July to collect some of his manuscripts. Thank you.
